That was my thought as well. The vet said you just plug it in and leave it. It's supposed to last a month. So as long as it's plugged in, it will keep that calming effect, unlike medication you have to administer prior to a stressful event. The only problem is the room needs to be somewhat small. Thorin has his own bedroom (with a queen size bed
). But when he isn't in the room, do the effects carry over for a certain amount of time? Guess we'll find out!
