The Pack moved up onto the deck and into the Hazel Run House for the final competition of the Hazel Run Winter Olympics, Synchronized Snoozing.
King Ember was the judge for this event. He circled around the room of slumbering setters, checking out their use of the available space, making sure at least two dogs were sharing one bed (which is one of the rules of the competition), and occasionally lying down to test the general snooziness of the performance.
"Ah, yes. I think if I lay here much longer, the snoozy atmosphere would put me to sleep."
"Okay! I've made my decision!"
