All the other pics are wonderful!!! I was going to post close ups but it seems like the feel of the thread is more toward the feetsies. I will save the closeups.
It's only his back paws that have the long hair and I check on a daily basis to see if his paws are clean. It's only happened 2-3 times, but yeah it seems like trimming is the way to go.
