One can get fat from anything if you eat too much of it. The thing with *canned* Wellness is that it's a decent, widely available, commercial food with good quality ingredients, which is more than can be said for much of the other crap out there. Other than that, there isn't anything magical about it that guarantees weight loss. Common sense still applies: if a cat is too fat, feed less, if it's too skinny, feed more.
