I can help with homepathic therapy.

First, the cat should receive APIS 7CH and BRYONIA 7 CH {9CH =200K (aproximately)}
3 granules of each, twice a day to free the lung from water accumulation.
To calm the cough, there is many good homepatic complexes on the market here in Quebec:
STODAL from Boiron, (France)
SANTAHERBA from Homeocan, (France)
R 8 from Dr Reckeweg. (Germany)
Elsewhere, it is easy to find good homeopathic products
used for human asthma. They work well on cats.

But remember, cats are sensitive to strong odors like:
perfumes, dedorants, smoke, spray cleaners or fabric softeners and often to perfumed, dusty or synthetic cat litter.
