Face & ears look kind of Collie-like to me...maybe Golden Retriever somewhere in the mix?
Might be easier if you had any full body pics - how big is he?
On second thoughts, maybe the ears are more like a Shepherd's ears, floopy when they are young & then standing up when they get older.
I think I suck at this breed identifying thing....
