Just to let you all know, as the original poster of this thread, that Lucy's seven pound lipoma was removed succesfully. It was a more complicated surgery than anticipated and she lost a lot of blood but she recovered fully and completely and is doing so so so so much better withouth the seven pound (!!!) weight around her mid-section.
