We've done private obedience training with our other dog (a purebred mutt
), and it was worth every penny. After Jaida recovers from her surgery, we'll be investing in her formal training as well (we would have much sooner, but she had a rough start), and get her sister Gracie into advanced level classes. I'd love to get Jaida into herding (I've seen courses offered that use ducks or sheep)...I think she'd get a lot of pleasure out of that!
Mona, never heard about the ear-rubbing no-no with the pups...good to know for the future, though!
