Wow ~ that's quite a find ~ The only thing I noticed was many of the recipes called for boullion. Since commercially prepared boullion usually contains a great deal of salt and MSG I'm now trying to substitute a homemade beef or chicken broth which I've reduced. I keep a stock of it in the freezer now so that it's always on hand. The same goes with recipes which call for peanut butter, I only use the "just peanuts" variety ~ no sugar or salt added. And of course, if a recipe calls for 1 clove of garlic I put in 3 !
