The OP gave me permission to post the pic of Wilsons nail growing on his tail as the Vet as cut Shannon's short so it's hard to see. Shannons should be long enough in about 2 weeks to take a clear picture, as it seems hers grows much longer than the OP's. I'll post Shannons as soon as I can! Here's what it looks like, weird huh
