Yes, my childhood was quite unique, I think the best part was that we weren't staying in hotels the entire time, we'd stay in each country for at least a month, and it would always be in small ethnic houses. (Or a night or two in a one bedroom hotel room, the size of a bathroom, with 4 cots...ahhh italy...
