Ciara finished her last round of antibiotics on Sunday for e coli (again!) in her bladder. I ran her sample down to the Equine Medical Ctr for testing. My vet understands that after over $ 400 in meds alone I cannot afford to pay her costs for Antech when I have the resources anyway. I do not like Antech from experience.
I will always try to give my dollars to her practice, I realize she is not a "non profit" organization.
I lingered around the hospital while my friend Jackie ran the preliminary stick test, all clean so far. Yah!
Sat in on a few Sx's and procedure's while there...that is always cool... my Disney World.
Now I have to wait another 24 hours for results. I do hope we killed these buggers at last. Three years is way too long.
I have spent a fortune on my baby and will do what ever it takes but it helps to have a network going that works for you too.
Kudos and High Fives to the Vet community that keep us rockin'. One bad Vet will not take us down.....
Now the waiting begins..
