Lost dog - major mackenzie dr and weston rd, woodbridge, all white male morkie
On the evening of August 2, 2013 we let our beloved Toto out in the backyard as usual. I had just given him a bath and forgot to put his collar back on. He never made it back home (I am still kicking myself for not putting his collar back on right away). He has NEVER wandered off like this and this is very unusual behaviour for him.
He is an all white male morkie (Maltese/Yorkshire Terrier), weighs about 5 lbs and has pointy/upright ears. He is 4 years old.
When he didn't come back and I went out to look for him I noticed a large animal running through the backyard (we have a ravine on the other side of our street). I couldn't tell if it was a coyote or raccoon. I think he may have gotten spooked and ran under the fence leading into Vaughan Valley Estates. We have searched everywhere and have not found a trace of him....not even signs of a struggle if he did get into some sort of confrontation with another animal. As of today no one has turned him into the shelter and since it is the long weekend the shelter does not reopen until Tuesday. I feel so helpless right now. I put up 50 + posters in the neighbourhood and talked to a bunch of neighbours.
If anyone has any idea where our beloved Toto could be please contact me at 416-917-1829. His family misses him terribly. He is probably very scared as he gets nervous if he doesn't see us around.
