It always amuses me when I find one of our cherished garden plants is growing wild in its country of origin, Hazel. Aquilegias are very popular with members of a garden group I'm in. I suppose the roses have done well considering they haven't had the best care this year. Still have a few that haven't flowered yet and thrip are causing a lot of damage, especially on white or cream roses, hard to get good photo's. I've had a good start to the day. Mowed a firebreak around the stables, wanted to do more but the mower broke down. Hope we have fixed it. Also got some more of my sunflowers planted, part of the garden watered while the dogs were out, and can finally have some breakfast.
