I am so sorry your facing missing your pet. A couple of things you can do would be to check everywhere close by, they usually never stray too far. Check under porches, decks, sheds, garages etc. He could have gotten locked in somewhere?
I would put out something with his scent on it and maybe he will be drawn out. Go out in early early morning hours when its quiet and call, he may just come out of hiding if he thinks its safe. Bring a flashlight so you can look for him if he is hiding somewhere. I would jingle some treats while your calling for him as well. If he is hungry he may come runng from where he could be hiding.
Also check with the meighbours maybe someone has seen him.
Also check with all of your vets in the area, and the SPCA/Humane Societies and I would personally go look there frequently because they dont always keep them long.
Good Luck please let us know how you make out.
