Our Kitty (real name) is declawed and we introduced Bella, who has claws to the family. It's been almost 3 years since their feline cohabitation and all has worked out rather well.
BTW...both are female.
It's a matter of human monitoring and keeping a close eye on their coexistence with each other. Where there's a will...there's a way.
