. If you amputate your cat's fingers/claws the difference is that they won't complain because they can't and you won't go to jail.
Declawing is an amputation not just the removal of the claw.
But the arguments about declawing are NOT BS and that's why many vets around the world DO NOT practice it.
Maybe some people do it because they're not well informed but that doesn't mean you didn't do wrong.
