This definitely enters the realm of cruelty, IMO. Not to mention dangerous for the cat. Seriously, she did this to him 3 times?!? And used Goo Gone???, which lists the following health hazards on the MSDS:

Wow, this person needs to reevaluate her relationship with cats. What a doofus. There are better ways to achieve the same goal, it's just too bad for her cat that she wasn't smart enough to figure them out.
