I don't care if the hornets suck on the nectar from the soaked cheesecloth stuffed in the port. I just don't want them squiggling through the opening and flying around inside the glass jar.

Each of my feeders are missing a guard so I've concluded that I'm going to do one with window screen and stuff the other one with cheesecloth. A scientific experiment perhaps.
