A couple of years ago we had Blue Foot in rehab for almost 2 weeks and when he returned it was not a pretty scene! Surge attacked him but we believe what saved him was his siblings went to him after Surge started to attack and then he stopped?? if they return them to nest under darkness maybe they will think she has been lost??? acceptance is the one thing but she has missed out on the time with her siblings and that is so critical. She didnt have the opportunity to do much flying before being swept off the ledge in the storm we had. SHe hasnt learned to hunt either. But they have her in a flight cage to help with strengthening the wings and she has been enjoying meals of quail for sure!
We shall wait and see I guess.
