Ours aren't very shy of us--they already land on the feeders as we're hanging them up on the shepherd's hook--so it wouldn't take long, I think. The problem is I keep getting interrupted by eight furry 4-foots who come along at irregular intervals and scare off the hummers.
Well, them and the skeeters...if we stand still long enough, the skeeters would carry us off, hummers and all! There's a reason hummers move so fast, y'know!
I do love just standing out there in the garden next to the feeders, feeling the breeze from their wings and listening to their hums and chatter, though.
