Pots won't work, GF--anything in pots, no matter how big, will freeze out in our winters.
If I put it in a pot small enough pot to carry into the shed for the cold months, the boys can still hit it
And Grace likely would eat it like she's eating my peonies and irises!!!
What a brat! But I always thought that clematis on the chain link would go a far way in making it purrrdy...
I've got one spot that may open up in the fenced kennel garden that would need a trellis for climbing but at least would be safe from the dogs. I love that dark one of yours, Winston! Very dramatic!
