Obviously it can show up early as Luke is only 6 months now but it is common in large dogs like Shephard and Labs but it can occur at any time in their life....

Luke's first snow
We have our first snow last night. Luke was amazed at the changes in his yard and spent hours trying to personally clean it up. I think he figured he could eat the yard clean.
