Well, i have bought him the canned version and will stick to that.I think that is the best option.Thanks a mill for your help.
He is still in trouble though, still trying to pee and nothing coming...

At the moment he is eating the c/d pellets.

He is on a prescription diet, it is Hill's c/d which prevents chrystals from forming and blocking his bladder.I'm not giving him anything else, it is this or nothing.
He just made quite a big pee...
