Thanks for the open mind. I'm a Libra so I think it's in my nature to carefully weigh both sides before I make a decision. I'm hoping my wife and I come to a resolution before my puppy is 5 months....

I'm more concerned about my puppy's health...not pregnancy. It's just not an issue for us and how we live. As far as the heat cycles..I really don't want to have to deal with my dog having a period...

That's exactly my thoughts...I consider my dog a member of my family and I'm responsible for her just like my wife and son. I'm taking this very seriously and plan to find out as much info as I can.
