In Winnipeg the law is that a leash can be 20 feet, BUT you have to shorten it to 6 feet when a person or animal is closer than 20 feet.

Thanks for the replies! Bo was feral as well. Maybe it is just scrounging behaviour, maybe he needs something extra. He's a little underweight right now, so I'll try giving him some canned.

Maggie was 37kg at the vet's on Saturday, so that'd be 81.4lbs. She should definitely be less, but we don't know exactly what. Probably about 70lbs I'd guess. Still in the "large" category anyway.

I can attest to the method of baking soda and Maxx Cat for multiple cats. When we got our two rescue boys as six month olds, they both had coccidia problems, which took a couple of months to go away....
