Really, only 25 lbs? He looks sort of Mastiff mix to me, with that colouring. Made me think he was a BIG dog. Digestive issues too, poor boy.

That's what we did, an extra box temporarily. However our kitten was 6 weeks old. By 9 weeks he could manage the half flight of stairs in our house.

I would be concerned now. A flip flop won't digest, I bet, and could cause a blockage. Don't know if it would show up on Xray but I would at least phone my Vet.

I do feed the whole wing but they are tiny, wee things. Not even three inches long all folded up. I suppose it would be prudent to start with just the tips.

It could be the third eyelid partly stuck down but I'd still Vet, to make sure. Also, ointments, pills, whatever, don't always work the first time or might not be the right one for that patient.

Did any of the Vets investigate Laryngeal Paralysis? From what I have read it is worse at certain times of the year for some dogs and perhaps that might explain it appearing sudden?
