Also, check her mouth. When dogs get a cut in their mouth they'll drool alot. It may explain the head shaking as well.

I wash my sons beany bear in the sink with a little soap and a nail brush and I let him air dry on a towel. He's been pretty scuzzy and he ends up coming out fairly clean with this method!

I love the dish pics...I have one too! I normally use stainless dishes, but Toby got a little ice cream in this one once or twice, then it became his favorite "treat" dish.

It's also messy. I've assisted in many surgeries with both in heat and not in heat animals....let me tell you, the cats were a picnic....the great dane in heat was....well you can imagine.
