I would strongly recommend laser s/n if you have that extra money (believe it's about $40 more). I did that to my pup Diego and his cut was only about one knuckle long, he barely lost any blood...

Agree. My orange tabby Mimi used to climb from my mother's back to her shoulder all the time, leaving deep and painful scratches. They usually grow out of it in no time.

Personally I don't trust those pet store "medications". Is this kitten vaccinated? If not, you should probably bring her to a vet first, the vet would be able to suggest a treatment.
