bad wet food!
just so you know, canned cat food is 3/4 water, if you worry that your kitty is still hungry after eating hard food could you imagine how hungry he'd be after eating a can of water!

twice a day
Ideally you should brush your dog's teeth twice a day to prevent plaque from forming.
I know that this sounds like a lot of work so do it as often as possible. Anything will help!

Have they considered lung problems?
There are many respiratory problems that have coughing and wheezing as clinical signs. Kennel cough, rhinitis, collapsing trachea, and many bacterial infections.

Cats are picky...
Cats will starve themselves to death where as a dog will eventually give in and eat. Heating the food makes it much more appealing (smells better). Becarful not to over spoil her (with cooked meat)...

if you feed your dog canned food (which is 75% water) she will drink less but if you feed dry food (20% water) she will drink more

I should have shown up but the sample was mostly fat and nothing was found. Harvey was much too stressed to try another and miranda isn't easy to handle.

Is your cat up to date with it's vaccines? When you get your cat vaccinated it is standard to vaccinate for upper resp infections. Does your cat have contact with other cats that may be infected?

Tried at home?
I was just wondering if you have tried to empty the anal glands at home, it would save Cashew the stress of a visit to the vet and it is easy to do.
