It's the clay litters that are the problem, both for ingestion and for dust. There are a couple of brands-- World's Best Cat Litter and One Earth Cat Litter-- that are made from ground up corn cobs....

Another question about my little 4-month old. Judging from his behavior when I eat, I'm pretty sure that his previous family not only fed him people food, but did so during their own mealtimes....

Thank you, 14+kitties. Yes, that was my thought, that if I get him chipped, I would do it at the same time as neutering. First vet appointment is scheduled next week.
