The nest bound duck has resulted in the other now staying permanently at the pool, not retreating to its enclosure at sunset for food. It obviously cannot
stand its mate's anti social behavior.

They are two females and they have not laid an egg in years.
I'm taking my dog to the vet this week. Hopefully he can advise as he has ducks on his property (no farm vet)

It does seems to walk as if it is stiff.(like old age?) Will check its feet.
It only needs to walk a few yards to its food but does not seem to even leave the nest to eat.

I have two pet ducks, one from birth now 13 years old.
The other has stopped visiting the swimming pool or generally moving around.
It lays day and night on a nest but never lays an egg.

His ceasures are becoming more frequent and harder to break the cycle once it starts. His mouth opens and closes in a snapping manner...

I was told that they have treated a dog with Epilim.
Result - no more seizures.
Anyone had experience with this medication on dogs?

My Dachhond started getting seizures when two years old.
He is now six and still the problem exists.
Three months ago after two days of fits, he was placed in hospital where
his fits continued....

My Dachshund (Wilbur) suffers from epileptic fits.
I am aware that after a fit a dog is likely to be disorientated and confused.
It took me a while to appreciate what this means and how dangerous...
