quick update

I just bought Frodo some Valerian Root from the pet store and I'm going to drop it into his food a few hours before we go. :-) Anybody know if *I* can use it as well? ;-)

So what should I do if it seems to be infected or not healing? Is there a special anti-bacterial cream I can put on? Can I use our own or is there special doggie formulas? :-)

Maybe I can draw on the collective wisdom of this board...
My shih tzu (Frodo..1 and a half years) went to the groomers a week or so ago, and now he has a small lesion at the base of his penis...
