I used to give my dogs beef marrow bones, and once in a while they would actually swallow small pieces of bone (that's why I don't do it any more, I would...

Maybe somebody should start a combination dog park/cemetery!
Personally I would prefer to be buried in a dog park than a regular old cemetery, many of which seem awfully desolate and deserted...

If it's just a couple of times a month, maybe you could just place a puppy pad (either the disposable kind or the reusable/washable type) where she pees (since it seems to be always in the same...

I'll try the scarves first
Well, several people have said the scarves/bandannas work, so I think I will try them first - they seem to be much less expensive than the coats I've seen.
Maybe I can find some at my local...

Sprinklers too?
A sprinkler might work, too, if your dog doesn't like a pool.
I remember having a Donald Duck sprinkler in the back yard when I was a kid - basically just a device shaped like Donald Duck's head...

Just a question.
I saw someone walking their dog yesterday - a collie/sheltie type breed, with a long, thick, heavy coat.
