Too many stray dogs & cats, sadly. People buy/adopt puppies and then throw them on the street when they get bored with them. :( I believe most would make wondeful pets if someone gave them the chance.

From what I've been reading on the web, treats are supposed to condition a dog to a certain behaviour. They learn to connect the desired behaviour with a good emotion and after the connection is made...

This is what I've been doing to teach Leon to come: I put him in a sit/stay using a cookie as lure, walk to a distance and then say come. He always obeys when there's a cookie involved but I haven't...
