Fleas and advantage question
My MIL is coming to visit in a few days and was going to bring her dog. Her dog had fleas but she gave him Advantage a couple weeks ago to treat them. Does anyone know if he could still have fleas and if he could spread the fleas to my household? We have two dogs and two cats and don't want a case of fleas! Thanks.

According to the product description:
Within 12 hours of application, 98-100 percent of fleas are dead. The second active ingredient, pyriproxyfen, is an insect growth regulator. Once a female flea lays her eggs, pyriproxyfen works to prevent the eggs from hatching, ending the flea life cycle.
So it she treated him 2 weeks ago, you should be okay. :thumbs up |
Thanks!

Probably a little late but I'd be wary still. Even though her dog has been treated the fleas can still be around the home unless she had it sprayed. She could carry a flea in on her shoe or on clothing.
