Another "Guess My Breed"?
This is Minnie... a neighbor got her from a woman on Craigslist and then a few days later ended up in hospital and is now staying with her parents out of town... and so we've "inherited" Minnie. We're told she's about 5, she weighs about 6 pounds, so she fits right in with the other Mini-Mutts.

At first we thought she was Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, but more and more I don't really see any Chihuahua except for the ears and maybe the tail. The super-stocky build, scruffy hair, and BOUNCINESS (oh yes, she BOUNCES) are starting to suggest something a little more like a Jack Russell or rat terrier.

We're planning to order a DNA kit (same one we got Groucho) but meantime... anyone care to hazard any guesses??

Is she soft or wiry? She looks a little schnauzer-y to me. She's adorable, whatever she is, though! :lovestruck:

REALLY wiry... almost like a boot brush :)

You can't see it in these, but she has soft tuft of long grey-ish hair on her head, very much like Groucho's :)

Yeah, we'll go with yorkie/rottie... she does kinda have the markings, doesn't she? :)

No idea but I would like to say, You are a fabulous photographer. Is Molten Images your own company? These and Groucho in your other thread are breath taking, they are so clear. You don't just take a good photo but I get a sense of personality from both dogs. Very, very nice.

AAwwww thanks *blushing*. Molten Image is my own... well, trade name, I suppose. I've use the name for a couple different ventures in the past, but at the moment I'm just a "serious amateur" with the photography.

You know, looking at her markings... she actually has very Min-Pin-like coloring. The ears look a lot like Min-Pin too. Hmmm...

Min-Pin X Yorkie was what I was thinking too :dog:

Thinking there might be some Jack Russell in the mix, too... the way she runs and hops and spins are very reminiscent. She's got that stocky build.

Well, I think we'll be ordering the DNA kit next payday (same one we got for Groucho)...

Yorkie and Min pin is my guess as well. What a cutie!
