vomiting puppy

my 7.5 month old puppy has thrown up 5 times in 90 minutes. he's sleeping peacefully now. could it be something he ate outside, or i should i panic and take him to the vet??

You know, when in doubt (especially with such a young pup) a trip to the vet is a small price to pay for peace of mind. I hope all is well.
