Couple of pictures taken today of some poor, confused and sore looking Crocus' :(

Yay!! If the snow stays off them they'll perk up in no time. :) There's a nice amount of them to create a display.
|
They look better than mine ever have. Mine come up but never flower at all, not much better than a tuft of grass!
|
At least you can see your crocuses, klm! And they'll perk up if it ever gets warmer.... Bah...if!! We're still hovering around the freezing mark... :o
|
mine barely started poking out their little heads when we got that big snow storm...they're still under there somewhere, such weird weather this spring, they are calling for snow today!
|
It was sunny but, very cold today. :frustrated:
Fortunately for the crocus', they face the southside of the house so they got the warmth today and popped back out. :thumbs up I just wish this cold spell will snap...SOON!!! :yell: |
Well, at least we don't have a lot of mud here yet. :o
|
Oh they are pretty!! Mine should be up in another 2 months! LOL

I have to agree with TQ. My bulbs are barely covered underground yet multiply every year.
Once their done, I turn the soil to prep for summer impatients and the bulbs all come to surface. I really don't pay too much attention to them but I seem to get more and more every year. |

I try to be all gentle and not disturb them when I plant the annuals, just my luck it's not what they want! Once they show themselves, I'll make sure they're right at the surface, maybe next year I'll get a flower or two. |
OH TQ there is hope, you are only a few hours north of me and my Hyacinths have been trough the soil for almost 2 weeks. I also see tulips and daffy's up.
