My first day at the shelter
 

Friday evening I went into the shelter where we got Izzy from and went over some stuff. I wont have a regular spot because the good thing, is they are pretty full w/staff but I will be trained for the people who go on vacation thsi summer to work their times.

I did volunteer to take a load of laundry home each week.

But while I'm there, I get to take them out of their cages (one at a time of course) and play. How cool is that? Playing w/cats all evening! Izzy was none too happy when I came home either. :giggle I'll do laundry drop off/pick up/ and play time on Wednesdays.

Ohoh, Mommy came home smelling of other cats!!! :evil: :eek:

BEG, that's really good of you to do. I'm glad to hear you at least get to play with a few kitties while you're there. Hopefully there will be lots of holidays this summer!

So nice of you to help out at the shelter BEG! :goodvibes: And I hope you don't have to resort to the hose...maybe a heated in-ground pool? Quick dip after a hard afternoon of playin' with kitties... :D
