An idea that would work to clean up the oil spill

I got this today and thought it was a good idea. It seemed to work!

I also remember years ago people talking about using feathers to clean up oil spills too.

There was a guy on the news that had a product that took the oil right out of the water. It was like a sheet or something (sorry can't recall it off hand) He did a demonstation..he placed it over the oil and when he lefted it up, all of the oil was on the sheet, and the water was clear. US Government can't be bothered. Also othe nations have wanted to help, but the US Government has said that we don't need help and to go away.

Yes, instead of taking any help that has been offered up, the morons running the government turns it away. This is no time for egos!

AG it is probably because if anyone were to help, they would want some of the profit. And the US Government wants it all. All about greed.
