How do I add pictures?
I just found this forum after a year.....yeah I know I have to look around more. I'm always on the pets threads.
I was trying to post a pic for someone's birthday that had a url and all I got was a link instead of the pic. Can someone tell me how to do it? Am I suppose to have special settings or something? Use html codes? Oh yea, what does the "Tags Separate tags using a comma." below mean? Thanks Debbie |
Two options
Save the image on your hard drive and add as an attachment to your post. Post the image on a free image hosting website like Photobucket, etc. and then use the link photo option. Not a good idea to direct link to an image on another website other than your own photo host site, for that's bandwidth stealing. Hope that helps! |
Such a good question as I have the same problem as I don't 'get it'. So I just suck up to someone here and ask them to post for me.:D

Ceara...see....it shows up as a link. *sigh* I just don't get it.
Do I need to use html codes? |
1 Attachment(s)
Is this what you wanted?
I just clicked on the image and moved it to my desktop. It asks if you want to move it. You click yes. And it goes to your desktop. From there you can do the normal attachments you would do for pics. |
Or you can click the little button at the top of the reply box which looks like a mountain scene picture icon and then input the whole URL (the http:// address) and that should also work.
