Please suggest - Podcast ideas for Dr. Lee
Hi Members,
Our next podcast will be an interview with Dr. Lee Normally the subject is chosen beforehand... but for this podcast, we'd like the members to choose the topic. Maybe someone is having a problem with their dog or cat? Anyone got any good questions/suggestions for our amazing veterinarian? This podcast will likely be recorded tomorrow (sorry for the short notice) so all suggestions should be posted quickly. Many thanks everyone!! |
Bumpin' for a suggestion - Thx - marko

I would like too know more about Bloat and Gas problems. With the Mastiffs that is my biggest fear. Any wesite I have been too concerning it has been pretty vague. Just a thought.
Thanks |
I agree, bloat is also one of my biggest fears.
|
Same here - with a GSD this is also a concern for me.

Neccessity for/reliability of rabies shots
What to look for in a good vet Hazardous materials checklists - what to look for if you suspect poisoning How to talk to your vet so s/he understands your concerns |
Bloat was a topic of conversation in podcast # 39, for anyone interested: http://pets.ca/blog/?p=68
I'd be interested in a podcast on cancer. Pretty broad topic, I know, but maybe something regarding symptoms to look out for, treatment protocols, or some of the more common cancers affecting our pets. |
I don't know if it has been covered, but maybe how to care for the aging senior pet. Health concerns to watch for, tests and screenings to request from your vet. Appetite issues seen in seniors. Kidney failure and other organ issues. Incontinence. Arthritis and treatments. Quality of life scale. Understanding of the euthanasia process. Just another idea to add to the list.

I'm kinda late, but caring for an aging pet would be good and how about spay incontinence. I had someone who was ready to put her dog down until I talked to her about this. Alot of people just don't know.

What about the concerns of river/lake water bacteria ingested by our pets? Now that spring is coming and things are thawing, more and more pple let their animals down to the water to swim. I think it's important to be aware of the symptoms as well, just in case.
