8 month old cat
Hi
I have an 8 month old female siamese cat she just started going into heat I noticed lately she has not been eating much and she has a gooey druel and some hellatios smell in her mouth and when she trys to clean herself that gooey stuff gets all in her fur and her body smells. I tried looking in her mouth which is not an easy task, so I waited for her to yawn and what I saw almost made me vomit. It looks like her bottom teeth are rotting away and the gums are bleeding. The poor kitty looks to be in pain Iam taking her to the vet in the morning, but does anyone know what this is or what caused it? Please help Thank You |
The vet is going to be the best person to figure out what's going on with your kitty, although one possibility is juvenile-onset stomatitis: http://www.sniksnak.com/cathealth/stomatitis.html
Good luck with the vet visit, and let us know what they say. |
Good luck at the vet this morning :goodvibes: :fingerscr . Please keep us updated.
