A few pics of Yellowstone and the Tetons
 

My hubby and I went to yellowstone and the tetons last year for our honeymoon. I have to say it is one of the most beautiful places that I have been. I really miss it, we are hoping to go back someday.

here are a couple more...we took over 400 pictures but these are just a few, and funny enough not even clost to all of my favorites.

What striking landscapes ~ you must have been in jaw-dropped mode the entire time you were there ! Lovely pix !

Cool! In the second one is that salt or ice on the rocks?

Byrd, In the second pic the stuff on the rocks is actually sulfer build up from all the gases and is carried through the water and deposited. It is just an amazing place so many colors and animals.

Very cool! But the smell?

Very STINKY!!! :yuck: But well worth it, the worst was the mud pools. It is just one of those smells I don't think I would ever get use too. It really wasn't that bad, but it did have its own aroma that's for sure :D
