HI all, I am new here. I am home sick from work today with a nasty case of the flu.

I am a dogo argentino enthusiast, and adopted my first one about 5 years ago not knowing much about the breed, since then I have fallen head over heels in love and do a little rescue work from time to time. I rescued my second girl, Argo, about a year and a half ago, and lost her 2 weeks ago due to renal failure.

I love all animals, and am also an ardent (tho not very good) horsewoman.

I came to this board in search of some help/advice transporting a dog from New Jersey to Buffalo as I will be rehoming him here in Ontario!

My husband wanted a Dogo Argentino too and although I have nothing against the breed I was already heart set on a Caucasian Ovcharka. It wasn't really a contest but we ended up with the CO. My hubby loves her more than life.
To lose a pet is one of the hardest things I have experienced and I know it must tear you apart as well. Sorry for your loss :rip: Argo.

Go on to yahoo groups try a search for dog rescue transport, I know there is a few organized groups that exist, good luck
