Dog licks slate floor, Why?
Need prognostication on the following:
Dog licks floor in kitchen Associated facts: - Floor believed to clean - Floor made of slate - Dog not emotionally well in general :) |
My professional diagnosis: Weird dog. ;)
|
What do you mean by the dog is not emotionally well in general?
I know that slate is the top layer of rock that a quarry removes so they can begin to mine to "good" rock, so I am not sure if maybe it has a high salt content, and maybe your dog is licking for that? |
my kitchen floor is human clean too but what a dog smells is so strong and he may be just getting the last of a good meal, my girl licks the linolium in the kitchen even after i have scrubbed it clean. dogs are just weird. and what is an emotionally unwell dog?? I knew of a woman up north that would do hypno therapy on dogs and tell you of their worries and past life experiences, did some one like that diagnose your emotionally unwell dog??;)

Maybe likes the coolness of the floor or what you are cleaning it with.
