Man Hit by Falling St. Bernard

Wonder what kind of animal cruelty laws Poland has? This is unbelievable. Thank goodness the man was in the right place at the right time and that he and the dog are okay. :thumbs up

Man Hit by Falling St.Bernard

WARSAW (Reuters) - A man was bruised but alive on Wednesday after a Saint Bernard dog thrown out a two-story window landed on him as he was walking down the street in the southern-Polish city of Sosnowiec.

The 110-pound dog was pushed out of the window by its drunken owner Monday, police said.

"The dog had a soft landing because it fell on a man," said police spokesman Grzegorz Wierzbicki. "The dog escaped with just a few scratches. The man was also more in a psychological state of shock than physically hurt," Wierzbicki added.

The one-year-old dog, named Oskar, was placed in an animal shelter
while police investigate its owners for animal abuse.

Well other than the abuse part...

That's something you don't hear of everyday....I can just imagine this guy going back to his friends and saying "Dude guess what just fell on me!" I'm sure that would go well...lol

Hope the abusers get pounded into the ground and die! (I'm not violent....much....only when I am so totally bored and have nothing to do)

Poor doggy! Who knows how he got out that window? I mean, a guy doesn't just get a dog, treat it like a king and then throw it out the window, you know? Who knows what happened before that?
