Meet Bamboo a 1.5 yr old shepard/sheltie mix. Bamboo was adopted in 2010, but his family could no longer cope with his separation anxiety. Bamboo has the honor of making it to the first on our adoption list...which means he has been there the longest. He has made tremendous progress in the past months and is on a minimal dose of medication 2x a day. He is a sweet, loving dog and gets along well with other dogs, cats, even birds! Bamboo is a mix of two VERY energetic breeds and will need plenty of exercise to keep his mind and body in tip top shape! He would be a great running/hiking partner!! Animatch is more than willing to work with his adopted family, to ensure a sucessful integtration into his new home! For more information on Bamboo, please visit

I LOVE his face...there surely has to be some wonderful family out there that can give him what he needs. He really looks like such a sweetie :lovestruck:

What a wonderful face:pray:he'll find a good home.
Is he safe where he is??

Yes, he is safe Chico! He is at animatch, with many other furbabies, good food, nice bed, many volunteers to take him for walks and he will remain there until his perfect family comes along!

Having had a dog with s/a for so long (RIP sweet Shadow girl) I can imagine it will be hard to place this beautiful boy. But the right family will come along in time and he'll be the wonderful addition to their family that Shadow was to ours. He is a beautiful looking pup, I hope he finds a new forever home soon, and am so happy he is safe where he is. It would be so good if we could get inside their heads and tell them it's all okay!
