Pee Pads or Not?

So I've had Bella for just over a week and still not having much success with house training. I take her out a lot but she's a little pee machine and ends up going in the house a few times a day. I was wondering if pee pads are a good thing or just teach them it's ok to go in the house? It certainly would be easier to throw out a pee pad then try to clean up the carpet but I want to do what's best for her in learning to go outside all the time. Opinions please!

Can we have more information? How old is Bella? "I take her out a lot," how often would that be? Your "often" might not be mine for instance. Is she alone when she pees? Are you leaving her unattended?

It's hard to answer without knowing more detail but for me, if you are home, in a house with a yard, during the day with her I can't see a reason for pee pads in this nice warm weather. Then more diligence on your part is required, for a puppy or for any age dog you've only had a week. However I have known folks to successfully transition a dog from peepads to outside by simply moving the pads outside.
